During my time at London in February at Fashion Week I was so
surprised with the amount of fashion magazines that are on offer at newsstands
in comparison to Scotland’s newsagents. More or less everything! The Vogue
Italia issue I was drawn to instantly with this unique cover. The face of
the model superimposed with a layering collage effect, but retaining the same
image in black and white. All of this allows for a sophisticated yet new punk
effect retaining the glamour image. Styling has a modern 1920s/30s look mixed
with, should I dare say, Cruella Deville? With the gold nails on the arms
length gloves. Overall a fantastic cover that is attention grabbing and
stands out when beside the other magazines.
