J Smith ESQ at London Fashion Week

J Smith ESQ is a bespoke milliner, working both in men's and women's, who had a successful career in hairdressing before designing fabulous classic and couture hats in 2000. He uses many different mediums to create these original pieces such as knitting, embroidery , sculpted and even used tattooed pig skin. He undertook part time miller training before attending The Royal College of Art. In 2007 he completed his MA in Millinery. His work has won many critically clamed awards such as i-D Styling and Italian Vogue – where his work was also featured in their exhibition. 2010 he was named by the British Fashion Council “Young Entrepreneur of the Year”
