I was on Nicola Formichetti blog yesterday and I love his work, to me he
has the best job in the world and is also one of the main innovators in fashion
today – a true revolutionary. After being discovered by Katy England back in
the 90s. Starting as a stylist for Dazed
& Confused magazine, he has went on to be Creative Director for Vogue
Hommes Japan, Fashion Director for Lady Gaga and Creative Director for French
fashion brand Mugler– which he has reinvented bringing it to the 21st
Century digital brand challenging our idea of luxury. Now he is turning his
talents to photography that is looking amazing. These black and white images
capture a notion of fashion rebellion in a classic and sophisticated manor
strong visual impact. The styling has
been kept simple showing that styling does not have to be a overly complex
thing with the use of necklaces and the word Vogue engraved on the back.
