Harvey Nichols Edinburgh Summer Windows 2012
Inspiration for the current windows scheme
for Harvey Nics was taken from the past great British high street from tailors
to fishmongers. With a lot of eyes on Brittan this year, the jubilee to the Olympics
it reflects our industries. The team has thought out the displays perfectly creating
fantasy and drama looking carefully at the aesthetics of each shop fit and using
it to promote their product portfolio to consumers.

Harvey Nichols Edinburgh Windows
No words can describe the creativity and
excellence of the new current Harvey Nics windows. The run follows the story of
waking up in the morning, activities going through the day and work life. Using
relatively simple materials such was storage boxes, fining cabinets and blinds
beings a cool element along with the choice of colours allows for all the
products to be shown off effectively. When going close up items have been
stacked and the positioning makes it interesting.

Harvey Nichols Edinburgh
Last Friday through uni we have a
meeting with the marketing team about an exciting live project that my course
will be involved in. After I couldn’t help myself but take some pictures of
their AMAZING window displays so creative, what an imagination
a wee fish!
Great styling detail from using
the belts from the trousers to make a tie on the black shirt links the two
garments giving a nice and interesting connection of the two garments.
I like how instead of using the
traditional method of layering the jacket on the model they have created a long
skirt by using 2 Burberry trench coats, thinking out of the box not noticed on
first glance.
