On a recent trip to Glasgow to do some “research” (which was basically shopping in other words) I was stopped dead in my tracks with the windows at All Saints. Instead of a typical display involving promoting their products in terms of clothing involving the theme which they are in direction of the season, they have made a display involving using vintage Singer sewing machines dating back to the launce of the company in 1851. It was a fantastic way of communicating there band and stopping the consumer in the street by wondering what it actually was within the window, creating an interest and drama. The notion of using such an established brand high quality sewing machines indicates that the quality of the clothing is of a fabulous standard. Creative and thinking outside the box and giving the product differentiation from the competition surrounding the Glasgow high street.
