I was so sad to hear that the amazing Vidal
Sassoon has passed away at the age of 84. He was a true revolutionary a man who
changed the hair and fashion industry of the 1960s. His signature bob/geometric
style has never gone out of style along with the 5 point cut. Before Sassoon it
was all shampoo and set he changed it giving a new look for the decade younger
and edgier with the “wash and go” where there was less care or styling needed
allowing women to get ready quicker and have less fuss when looking after from
cut to cut but still have an amazing shape – which looks like art. Working with
designer Mary Quant he gave the haircut to match the change in attitudes
